There is a document from the British "Military Forces" which states that Theodor Rühle was interned in a "prisoner camp" in
Southampton

He appears to have been in more “prisoner camps”, but the documents that could prove this were located in London and were destroyed in bombings during World War II.
After an intensive search lasting 5 months, the family has finally been found.
